Great guitar

By Sridhar from Herndon, VA on 9/28/2011 5:39:57 PM

Bought this guitar at a local Music and Arts store (Oakton VA). This is a great beginners guitar. Very light and has a great feel and sound. I would absolutely recommend this to any beginner. Also, the sales guy (Robbie) was very helpful suggesting (not overselling) items that I could purchase. Got a great price on the guitar. Wonderful experience!!

Know What You're Buying

By SGW from Atlanta Ga on 1/6/2012 4:41:16 PM

I happened to be in my local M&A around Xmas when they were on sale, so I took one for a test drive to see if it would be worth picking up as an extra student guitar. I found the quality to be lacking on the one I played. The action was poor (too low, fret buzz), the sound was tinny & thin, and it felt like a cheaply made guitar. Set up right, it would probably work just fine for what it is, a beginner guitar, but the effort to set it wasn't worth the bargain price for me. All guitars are different, so make sure you test drive one first before buying. If you want a disposable beginner guitar, it would probably be ok - just barely.
